Put my car on a Dyno this weekend

I was at Southern Worthersee this weekend in Helen GA and they had a dyno there. Owned the car since February and figured I would see what she put down. Let's just say I've got some new goals. I think E85 is in the future for me.

93oct and around 80 degrees outside.

Here's the car.............

Very impressive on pump! Can't wait to see how you do with e85.

Pardon my ignorance does the EVT775 use stock turbos?

Should have mentioned that it is an EVT775 car and EPL remotely tuned it.

65mm VTG's from what I understand.

I'm looking at 68mm, but ideally I would like something smaller that spins quicker and gets me to 700 or over. I think I have to switch to GT turbo's for that.

+1 on E85!

Just be sure to do the conversion right.

You may be reaching the limits of the stock internals with it though.

My car on E85, I ran 518HP and 560 tq at 5280FT. I have a new tune that feels much stronger than what I ran that day. This of course is the butt dyno speaking.

Man, I always through the stock internals were built to hold about 800? Maybe I'm wrong?

Hix,

Why does your evoms kit say EVT775 and you only output 620ish? Crank and Wheel are two very different things.

Your car still looks very strong. Is everything running okay?

The car is running pretty well. I think most folks will tell you that the 'quoted' HP number from most kits are nowhere near real world accurate.

AMS Alpha 9 gives you 7xx WHP
Evoms EVT775 Gives 600xx

Someone should hold the tuners to some kind of standard but that will never happen.

Agreed on the number standard.

Everyone shoots and records high and performs low. They hit that high number at some point but, reality sets in.

Your setup sounds fast and strong. Cobb does E85, (that's what I run) and they do it well. Personally, with your numbers, I would only be looking for slight more torque and E85 would give you that.

Your setup is already aggressive, if you switch to e85, be careful with it.

Just remember that with your current setup, you still can fly by corvettes like they were a smart car on race gas.

Alpha 9 gives you 700-750whp on pump gas. Easily 850-900 on race gas.

I would love to move to Alpha 9. That was my goal initially. Prodigy, if your numbers are accurate (and I have no reason to think you wouldn't know!!!) maybe that's what I need to look into.

I made 675awhp on 93 oct on a Mustang dyno, no meth or race gas mixed in. I think the car can do a 5.5-5.6 60-130 which is fast for 93 octane, but still working out quirks with my COBB which is annoying. I think I am finally ready to drop it and pursue another route.

You could get over 700 pretty easily with 68's, but you'd have to keep a real close eye on TQ. When we run our 68's over 700whp, we typically only do it on built engines so that they can handle the crazy low-end TQ.
