I have not seen a lot of this issue. There isn't anything under the bumper cover there, so I would guess it was heated, or installed improperly to cause it to bind and cause that wavy look?

May be able to remove and re-install it and see if it is binding...or heat it up and see if it will lie right.

Good luck,
DC

Yeah...I see were it has the wave. There are 3 torx under the trim piece in front, and one is dead center (about where your wave is)....That is why I was wondering if it was installed wrong? You can lift up the trim...loosen the 3 torx and maybe some light heat and re-install evenly if it is binding. The trim where the latch is just pulls up...held with velcro type tabs.

I have published DIY on how to remove the bumper if you want to remove it and work it that way...Good luck with it.

Sure thing....Here is a LINK to a DIY I wrote to make front grilles...in it I show the complete process to remove and install the front bumper cover if you decide to give it a shot. Really not that hard...
