i always dynoed with it closed than open after 10psi. never tried with it closed. my X section is also 2.5" and the main pipes are 3"

Turbomaster is infamous around these parts
Hi Podigymb, was that exhaust custom? Can you give me details of who did it for you? It is exactly what I am looking for. Is it drone free with the valves closed?

Undercover made the exhaust for me. It sounds good open and closed. It rumbles but doesn't drone.

Fantastic, many thanks for your reply. Any issues with increased lag given the outer pipes stay shut until 10psi? So opening the throttle at low rpm you effectively just have a 2.5" exhaust. I have enquired whether they can make with vacuum actuators instead so that the system can be manually opened at idle or on brake boosting for launch.

2.5" pipes are plenty for 10psi until u really get going
