Mainly because I am running AFR's in the 11.5 to 11.7 ranges from 3,800 rpms to redline. The splash of E85 helps lean out the AFR to ~12.2's to 12.30's which gives me a little more ooomph on top while all else the same (timing and boost).

You are a racer, I know you know what I mean, but I can dive deeper if you like.

Absolutely on the same page brother. I run a company that tests fuel all day every day so if there is one thing I know, it's that lol. I've played with etoh mixtures on other platforms but never the Porsche because we've used a different strategy.
Please don't use torco anymore. I know the stuff "works" at helping to suppress knock and I use that term loosely but it wreaks havoc on so many different things. We actually charge customers more for running fuel with MMT because we basically have to refresh the motors after running anything more than a few samples. Stuff sucks

Stay away from leaded fuel on these cars too.

In my experience the pressure sensors do not like it at all, and neither do VTG turbos.

Junk. Just spent 5 mins on their website and watched the 2 videos. Complete gimmick. Any octane concentrate is a gimmick essentially that brings the antiknock up a few points (with side effects).
There was absolutely nothing of substance on that website other than some guy with a rebranded Sham-wow booth telling customers to "trust me it works"
I'll be glad to test it for you (for free because I've never seen it) but I have tested every "concentrate" under the sun and will guarantee its crap

Direct injection injectors as well as O2s will go quickly with leaded fuel, definitely don't use it. Octane enhancers (Torco et al) are garbage. I don't recommend them to anyone regardless of platform.

Oh wow guys - so no more Torco??? WOW. I used it on my vettes with great results, and never experienced any issues.

I've been using it in the TTS for a little over two years - mainly in the summer months with no issues. I am not a fuel expert, so if you're telling me to stop - then I will. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks!

In my opinion there is nothing better then just good quality race fuel, E85, or a combo of those with meth injection. Most of this other stuff is just gimmicks or harmful to the car in some way.

Is there ANYONE that can help with upgrading the fuel system on this car? Maybe some secondary injectors?

I just bought a 2013 997.2 Turbo PDK and would love to just do an FBO E85 setup on stock turbos/engine/trans.

I am testing the first system in the world in order to run an e85 blend. I will create a new post shortly.

Sorry don't want to go off topic in Chris' thread. Details will be provided by the developer.

When are you going to post / create a new thread about it?

Basically the car needs Syvecs, port injection to run 12 injectors, and a solution to the pdk / trans tuning.
