If the piston is of larger diameter in the BBI unit (which it is supposed to be),.. then the pedal will be softer than with the GT2,.. and the engagement point will be a little more forgiving (longer) than with the GT2.

I say "supposed to be" because the literature says something like "Larger fluid volume" making it easier,.. which makes no sense of course,.. the amount of extra fluid sitting behind a piston is irrelevant, it's just the diameter that matters.

I just called them to ask the diameter of theirs v.s. GT2,... but no one is there now. They're in some meeting off-site. I'll try to get clarification later and post back here.

When I find that out,.. I can use pi and whatnot to calculate the relative pedal effort.
That information has been very elusive. Props to you for trying though.

I posted this on the other forum but just so the info is here since clutch and gt2 slave came up....
Went out for a drive this morning and was actually taking it pretty easy just cruising behind a truck in 5th gear on a 2-lane road. I was driving well within it the ball park of "normal" driving. Anyway pulled over for about 2 min then back on the road. As soon as i started out again the clutch immediately started slipping at wot in normal mode.

Mods (cobb, kline w/cats, gt2rs intercoolers, turbo inlet pipes.)

I just got the clutch 3k miles ago (w/gt2 slave) and broke it in with an easy 500 miles. Didnt have any problems until today. Clutch felt like it was engaging a little hire once it started slipping.

UPDATE: Ok so took the car out once yesterday and once today. Today quite literally i drove very spiritedly trying to get it to slip. It would not slip after 40 min of hard driving in sport mode whole time with multiple wot pulls in every gear even uphill first 20 minutes.

Stopped for gas. After that. At WOT it started slipping.

Same thing yesterday. No slippage, stopped for dinner. Then it started slipping.

Only change ive done was i got a new AGM battery the day it started slipping (friday).

It could be a hydraulic issue, especially with engagement point changing on the pedal. When it's slipping it's probably not fully engaged.

Yea the 2.5 should be good for much more power than im making. I think im going to start with a clutch fluid refill and bleed and see what happens. Hoping to not have to drop the engine again and reopen the clutch since i just had a 8k$ bill 3k miles ago.

Edit: the slave cylinder was leaking when the fluid warmed up so brake fluid was getting on the disk. New slave=all is well=cheap fix=happy me.
