I had a set of paintable GT2 side skirts a year ago that I sold. I'm on the hunt for another set.

Does anyone know if the GTS primered ones are the same or no?

 

 

I swapped my painted OEM sides onto a 997.2 when i replaced my OEMs with GT2 sides, so i would say that they are the same between the two... all the same mounting points. Hope that helps.

=twturbo;4464834]There not the same as the stock turbo side skirts & can be painted no problem ,there exactly the same material as the the front lip,these are the ones i got & are still available on the Suncoast site where i believe the have a 10% discount for PCA & 6 speed members.

Honestly for something like sideskirts I don't mind paying $1k. They'll last for the life of the car.

However I wish the damn aero front lip wasn't $1k because that's basically a disposable part with how low they are Lol I can't see spending $2k+ to buy 2 of them. I just bought 3 oem lips so I can have a couple spares, and that was bad enough.

Maybe you haven't seen the knock off aero kit front lips all over eBay for as little as $100.00 manny people here using them ,but no knock off side skirts yet.

Oh I've seen it. I have one, but fitment on mine was horrible. I've seen some have good luck though.

 

Fitment especially on the sides is junk on those, needs a lot of work to fit decently.

 

My Aero lip gets beat to hell. I had a body shop repaint and repair it once to the tune of $600. And then two weeks later coming out of a parking lot with a big dip it's cracked again.

Thinking of switching to the Werks1 carbon lip.
