Paintable GT2 Sideskirts
Anyone know where to get paintable GT2 Skirts. I have the 'plastic looking' ones now and nobody wants to paint them.

Any help is appreciated.

I got mine from Suncoast & never paid extra for the primed versions ,cheaper to have your body shop do it.

But the ones that aren't primed are kind of textured. Did your body shop sand them and everything?

I've been looking for the GT2 paintable skirts for more than a year, I also asked several trusted vendors here to help looking for one but no luck yet. Most vendors and even Porsche department store told me they discontinued making it. If you find one, please PM the vendor. TIA

There not the same as the stock turbo side skirts & can be painted no problem ,there exactly the same material as the the front lip,these are the ones i got & are still available on the Suncoast site where i believe the have a 10% discount for PCA & 6 speed members.

Order the GTS skirts, problem solved. They come primered and ready to paint. Cost is right at $900. Spoke with Scott at Suncoast, and they are the same as the primered GT2 skirts.

yea body shop can sand them and prep them. its not a big deal.

For reference, I was quoted $1,500 to remove, sand and paint the front lip, side skirts and lower rear spoiler. This is for the black non-primered parts. The shop said I would save around $300 if I had the parts that where primered.

I've been paying $200 per item at a couple different shops over the years including any sand & prime.

Just got this done a few months ago, I believe the parts were sourced from Suncoast, primed, painted and installed by Gus at Technik1. Check with Gus for pricing, very reasonable!

Are you 100% sure? I was told there were 2 different part numbers for the GT2 side skirts...1 being for the 997.1 wide body cars and one for the 997.2 wide body cars. I had a pair from a GTS lined up and was told they wouldn't fit my 997.1 Turbo.
