+1 for IPD. It has never let me down. My .02 on the X Pipes. There are different X and merges that do make a difference. Sound and velocity capability.
John is a humble guy. There is lots of experience and passion in him.

+1 for EvoSpec - it's always good to have options in this market.
As for IPD: I will never understand all the hype. We are running turbos. I can have almost any torque curve I want in almost any rev band just by allowing these "improvements" in the tune. As long as the turbos aren't maxed out, it is just a matter of changing the tune. Why adding hardware and why for only 10 HP? This is at the edge of being repeatable on a dyno - even on the same day.
Yes, if you need a bigger TP then it might be an option, but so is the standard 997TT or GT3 TP for a lot less money. For these you could use the airflow model data that are known, but with the IPD you have no model data at all. Not that it's that important to have, but I think the OEM stuff is the better option.
At least it is a bit more shiny

John,
Best of luck with your future endeavors! The motor you built for my turbo 30,000 miles ago (the one that arrived in a gazillion pieces) has been rock-solid and seen more than its fair share of track miles. Best wishes,
Dean

lol! Yes sometimes it does require turning the wheel! Thank You Sir!
Thank you Dean! I am very happy to hear that you are getting to enjoy your car to the fullest.
Ah, the ultimate question!! Boy the trouble a could get into crossing this bridge!
lol!!
But to be honest, a very hard question to validate with absolute certainty. The only way I could go about explaining this is to purely tell my experiences and things we have seen in the many past years.

Finally, would EvoSpec be able to help with upgrading the drivetrain (in particular, the front diff) for people looking to build similar higher-power setups.
Thank you in advance.
John -- First off congratulations on EvoSpec (little behind), and I wish you lots of continued success in 2017. Second, I was hoping you could comment on when you believe it's appropriate for someone with a built engine to start considering Air/Water intercooling, vs. traditional Air/Air. Especially in light of the fact that 1,000+ WHP builds are becoming more and more common and popular.
