100-200kmh and 60-130mph modified vtg
That's huge compared to what I run now: 48.5 mm. We tried a mm larger 2 years ago but these sucked big time. Yours seem to work very well.
When some WMI makers advice to have the pump located lower than fuel tank, wouldn't be better to rotate your pump to keep the fuel lines at the bottom?
Yes, but the other theory is that air bubbles could then be trapped in the pump. I decided to go that way because that's how some WMI makers install them. The "pipe" length to the tank is like 15 cm or so (sse pic). The pump won't have any problems to get fluid - in fact I tested it already and it just primed perfectly from empty to full flow within 5 seconds.
I had a lot of little hardware bugs to fix and time went by waiting for parts, but the project is moving forward now.
100-200 kph 4.7 and 60-130mph 5.5 on a flat surface with almost full fuel tank. No brake boosting or any tricks, just pedal to the metal in 4th.
IAT is now down do 37.5 degrees C at 308 kph, which is really great.
770 hp and 1060 Nm is not too bad for VTG turbos - I think I will not get my 800, but I have one or two things left over to try.

Thanks. In 3rd I get exactly the same 100-200 time. Shifting in 3-4/10ths and immediate acceleration in 4th, but I land exactly on the line of 4th gear as if I would use just 4th.
If I would make a bet with the gearbox, I probably could gain 1/10, but not more.

786 hp and 1080 Nm - that's it. Not too bad

Just curious what is your goal?

hp wise I wanted to see the 800 and missed that goal - which is just a number anyway. Yes, number cheating would have shown it, but that's not the way I am working. In the winter time we will have 800 hp with cooler and denser air, so that's fine. I could even get 800 hp in a single run, but the car may then struggle in these high speed runs above 200 mph. Backpressure is a nightmare with these VTGs. I would easily make 1000 hp with other turbos.
Next stop is TIAL turbos - or NOS
. Maybe next year. I just wanted to see what VTGs am capable of and that's what I can do with them.
The calibration I have to get the 2.5sec 60-100mph run would not be the same as a 200mph calibration, I understand where you are coming from. Impressive results especially given the breath of capability you are trying to cover.
I'm also looking into what to do next. Done simulation with the new Garrett G660s and BW EFR 7163s. Would love to do simulation with Xonas...but no maps. For Xonas I have to rely on datalogs I collected from members nice enough to share. All these options are nice, all have their pros /cons.

I mean, it's not that I can't
. That's a time midway thru the project. Haven't done many 3rd gear pulls, but here is one and I bet I am quicker now, but that's only a guess until I try again. 2nd chart is 4th gear as of yesterday.
