I guess yours was the car the camera was pointed to, right? The camera car apparently got a cel during that run (beep) and yours could go the pace quite good.

Thats the camera car just switching on PSM mid run by the way. We always launch without. I never bother switching it back on.

Also last VMAX results below from March 17. You can see she ran quicker than some very fast cars in terms of top speed. It was a slow day as we were running into 70mph + headwinds that day. I was 7mph down compared to say when we have a tail wind instead of head wind.

I couldn't find the info, so I ask here: how long is the track length for that event?
I see you start from a stop and then accelerate for what length ?

1.3 miles. I'm hitting 188/189 mph by the mile marker. Its also an incline so hard on the cars.

So early days but the 9e/Proto MS 109 tune looking really good. Already down to 6 secs 60-130mph and no retardation

Can't wait till next event! Hopefully I can get closer to GT 996

I'm surprised they went to 71mm VTGS! The UK ESM guys I've spoken to have been reserved about commenting positively on 68mm VTGS when I've spoken to them about them so really surprised they've gone bigger. Any pics of the 71mm compressor wheel?

Congrats ! Todd K knows his stuff for all types of racing as well!

You WILL be faster 0-300km/h period! Even though you are running the same small hotsides & EGT would be creeping up, the higher octane fuel would allow your boost and timing thresholds to be higher, while being safer for your motor.

At $6/L I would find a way to run meth as you can run that 100% of the time & have a faster car all the time! Heck at $6/L it must be cheaper to order E85 by the drum (that's what I do) and run that & I PROMISE YOU YOUR 0-300KM/H TIMES WOULD DROP DRASTICALLY with E85!

The cost of 109 makes it like a nitrous shot aka only for special events! If I didn't have a E85 solution (order drums of E98 and mix down to E85 = $1.90/L = 2.37/L if you add 25% more E85 fuel vs regular fuel to get a net calculation) meth would be mandatory for me and a solid aggressive set up at that.

Good luck at your next event and I think you would be pleasantly surprised at the favorable out come with Todd's 109 map!

Hi Buddy, 9e have suggested water injection or meth if I want to run this new tune all the time. The issue is the 997 is my daily and I regularly pack out the luggage area so sticking a big tank in the front luggage area is not an option for me - relative practicality is probably the main reason I have run 911s forever and don't want to lose that plug and play in the turbo. Will have to stick with a few extra quid for MS 109 at events. Even on the old regular pump tune the car was pulling harder in terms of outright top speed than some pretty powerful cars as you can see from the VMAX results. Early feedback I'm getting is that the car is flying on this new MS 109 and night and day quicker than before. I'll let 9e post the results up when they are happy to let this tune out on their other customer cars but I've seen the hp figures and they're unbelievable for a GT2 hybrid VTG car on a stock engine. I'm tempted just to do the head studs and the rods for now the thing is putting out so much more power at the wheels. Hope it all holds together - just heard I need a steering rack

My set up is:-

997.1 turbo

9e GT2 hybrid VTGs, do88 turbo inlet pipes. GT2 RS intercoolers, IPD high flow Y-Pipe, 82mm IPD Plenum with GT3 Throttle Body. Europipe 2 sports 100 cel exhaust. Sachs 890Nm clutch, 997t short shift, H&R - 20 mm sports lowering springs with TPC DSC module and GT2 rear anti roll bar. 19 inch BBS F1 alloys with 245 and 325 Cup 2s

All the above included in their 9e 28 power pack but nowadays they're using Kline sports exhausts and do88 intercoolers instead of the above bits. They've also changed the design of their hybrid compressor 62mm wheel slightly so their GT2 hybrid now produce even more power. I still have the old style compressor wheel.

She's nicely run in

if you ditch the cats and get the do88 big pack coolers she will go even faster

Looks like a well rounded package, but you should sell me or I will "help you and take off your hands your "old" and "heavier" BBS FI's and go faster with their lighter BBS FI-R!!
