Auto Assets in Powell Ohio PPI

I vowed a long time ago to pass along good experiences twice as often as bad...
I'd like to thank Ed at Auto Assets for making that easier.

I found a 997 turbo in Ohio (I live in Kansas City) and got a reference for AA on rennlist.

The car was listed as perfect, and although it is a really nice example, it was not perfect... Which helped me understand what I was buying before the full commitment.

On top of that; I had purchased a plane ticket to fly and drive when a couple of things were found, and AA (I hope it's ok to refer to them as that) worked magic to get me squeezed in and on my way.

I highly recommend these guys.

AND NO! I'm not affiliated.

Glad to hear it worked out well, what did AA find?

Some cracked and delamimating carbon fiber,
a few scrapes under the front spoiler,
a few stone chips,
the rear spoiler had been repainted, and tires that weren't "new" as described by the seller. In fact, the seller bought a new set of tires to make the deal work.

The phone conversation to go over all of the things they checked lasted almost 40 minutes.

Glad to hear they did a good job.

The oem carbon is notorious for delaminating in these cars.

I'll be doing some searching on how to replace the carbon pieces on the door with leather.
The rest of the carbon pieces look new.

But first I'll see if the CPO warranty will cover it.

LJ Auto Spa is just down the street from auto assets and I wanted to get paint protection before the long drive back to KC. (I'll try to do a review for them also)
It's been raining off and on today and the car wasn't ready for pics (needed a wash). Hopefully it will be clear in the morning and I can snap a few before I head for home.

If not, Jason (from LJ) said I should wait a couple of weeks before washing the car...

I hate to post dirty pictures.

that would have been great.
Looks like you have a very nice suburb, and all of the people I've met have been really nice.
Cool community.

AudiOn19s is infamous around these parts
Dan, glad to hear they took care of you. They are the only shop in town I trust to touch my cars when I don't do the work myself.

Sounds good, was just at Local Roots the other night having a drink. The white Cayenne GTS with black wheels was out front.
