I got to play with a new C7Z06 - video from inside the C7Z
I have been EXTREMELY pleased with how my car has been running ever since I got it back from Todd at Protomotive a couple of years ago. I made the switch to E85 and it has been a completely different animal with the E85 switch and making some additional tweaks.

For having only 635awhp and 635 lbs/tq, the car runs extremely strong, both playing around with other cars doing rolls down the highway, to tearing corners down on some small events.
Here is a video against the C7Z06 my friend just got. His car is completely stock but this should give you an idea of how strong the 911 pulls. This Z06 is a 125-130mph car (based on how he did against a new Viper).
I also have raced another C7Z (not on video, but it will happen again after he gets it back from the shop) that has some pretty major mods and making shy of 850rwhp. That was the closest race I have ever been in. We were extremely close from about 70mph to 180mph...I was only able to pull about 1 car - and he had a passenger with him. I was running about E80 and the weather was nice and cool so my car was running to its' full potential. He has a procharger and a bunch of other mods and methanol.
For comparisons, this is that C7Z against my 840awhp / 820 lbs/tq GT-R (alpha 9 with a 4.2 stroker and 1k sheps). The Z, as stated, is in the shop getting cams, heads and a few other things so it should be well over 1,000rwhp when done.
The car did VERY well against other cars in the Garnett Revival race event in the race class. I ran E85 and R888s. I finished first by a pretty good margin. It is not the most competitive event, but there are some pretty gnarly cars with some pretty good drivers.

I am running 63.5's - they are the old EVOMS they used to put on their 750/775 package.

I was finally able to get a descent video of the race with the modded C7Z.
635awhp vs 850+C7Z - dead even from about 60 to 190mph. Not an inch was given either way. I am pretty happy.
The GTR that is about to plow us down is making about 800awhp - he is definitely quicker.

I go to Mosport (a long fast track) once a year or so. A few years ago I had modded 63vtgs and my friend Chris had his lightly modded Cadillac CTS-V. I pulled way ahead on the straightaway. Next year he brought a C6Z06 - he couldn't keep up. Last year he brought a C7z06 with light mods. He could keep up to a certain extent but certainly not pass me. I heard that he's done some work on his c7z06 and has over 800whp. I guess this will be the year he passes me with my Champion 68s.
Or maybe I'll get some racegas or e85 and make things interesting.
True...there are tons of cars rolling with 1000+aw/rwhp...it is crazy. Good time to be a motorhead.

Very nice!
You must have the lowest rated mustang dyno or be on a mainline dyno to make only 635AWHP and or the Vette must be very over rated dyno. You must be also making way more power under the curve, as I know these cars peak HP is pretty much what we make for the whole run on E85 (aka flat dyno graphs)! There is a 215WHP spread between you guys and you are door to door with him!
I am guessing with both you guys on the same dyno RWHP, there might be around a 80RWHP spread, but you are just making more power under the curve to keep up with his higher peak power! On a dynojet RWD you must be making 700-720RWHP!
Our 997 on E85 make power everywhere under the curve and taking down cars with more power is becoming a common occurrence in 997 on E85!
Awesome!

Your car on E85 with the Champion 68 would be a BEAST!! You will pick up at least 80-100AWHP (& same TQ) with consistent power & quick response everywhere with no timing pull at all on the track!!
I bet your Z06 friend would be shocked to see you be door to door with his "800RWHP" and or you pull him!
LMK as I have 4 drums of E98 (I mix it down to E85) arriving next week with 1 full unopened drum left from last year!
