New here . . .

Hey Folks,

Just a quick note of hello, passing from the 996 Turbo forum to here. This is my third Porsche, 2002 C2 and a 2002 Turbo, and as of this weekend, a 2013 Turbo. Honestly, I was very happy with my 996, it has a rawness that I will likely miss and a 6 speed that I will definitely miss. I have been rowing gears for so many years, I can't even count them . . . Perfect downshifts and double clutching was my entertainment, I guess I will have to just be satisfied with perfect shifts . . . EVERY time.

I know that the complaints about the 996 interior are rampant and the 997.1 interiors are absolutely nicer, but I guess not compelling for me. I purposely don't look at cars, for fear of being dissatisfied with what I have . . . It happened this weekend, FOR SURE. I was never a huge contributor on the 996 side, but I did try to add some worthy content, I hope to do the same here. And to the cell phone pics, before I actually bought her, cheers!

After I work on my exhaust, I am thinking that will be my next sixspeed favorite search! KH

Very nice machine! With just a good tune from a reputable tuner and exhaust these beasts run 6.7-7.2 60-130 on pump and knock mid-low 10's @ over 131mph+!!

Enjoy your new 911 chapter in good health!!!

Thanks

Bobby Ali
