Any one else that want a set will have to wait till after I have mine.
HRE and BBS wheels are generally $9000++

Yes they are and that's a lot of money to spend on wheels. Then you go to a meet or show and you see 2or3 other cars with the same wheels you have. Don't get me wrong I think bbs wheels are great looking but they are out dated. Also that 9k can be more like 6k if you go to a place like queens or the Bronx.The owners of the places pay less rent so they can afford to keep the prices cheaper.

Also I got lucky the guy who's doing my wheels is starting his company so he's looking to make a name for himself. I'm sure in a few years the price I got will be double.

Exactly the kind of wheels I don't want in my car. Nice design but no pedigree of manufacturing leaves a lot of risk for buyers.

Exactly you get what you pay for sometimes & the top brands have proven performance records on the street & track with TUV testing ,unless you just want bling ,i would't chance those wheels on performance car with my life .

Forged 1-piece wheels are not only cheaper,.. but they are also stronger and lighter than 2 or 3 piece wheels. Even the same design by the same manufacturer. (I.E. Champion RG5 3-piece v.s. the 1-piece monolites).

I agree with you 100% buy let's not forget even the top brands at one point where start up companies. if we had not given them a chance to prove themselves we wouldn't know how great they are today. Besides I'm not going for a performance wheel I'm not tracking or racing my car so it's more for the looks. Who knows maybe these guys will be the next big wheel company.

^ thanks Southpaw07. The GT2 side skirts are a nice, simple touch to accent the car's base. I wouldn't hesitate to pick up a set!

Thanks BHR997.2TT. The BBS wheels are those designed for the 991.1 GT3 in 20". However after speaking to BBS reps, they assured me that these would fit the 997.2 TT/S with no clearance or rubbing issues. My concerns were the offsets but the 991.1 GT3 is a wide body and the offset are perfect 997TT fitment.

Full specs are;

F: 20x9 et52 (17.41lbs)
R: 20x12 et44 (20.50lbs)

Light as a feather (compared to OEM CL) and durable/strong as they are forged 1-piece wheels! As a bonus, they are BBS (proven quality) and IMHO, one of the best looking wheels on our P-cars!
