997 Turbo MK2 indicator front bumper

Hi guys,

some month ago I updated my 997.1 MK with the 997.2 Turbo front bumper and use the lower light as a daydrive light as well as the LEDs inside the indicator.

I still have the problem with a failure message in the dash about the front indicator and the inside indicator signal is flashing faster but the outside is flashing normal.

I think this was done several times before but I can't find an answer in the search function.

Would be nice to get some help.

All the best
Thanks
David

I'm going through the same issue but on the rear end conversion to 997.2. Hopefully, you have a 2007 or 2008 car with that front control module 997 610 104 11. If so FVD makes a controller that is just plug and play . Otherwise you need to buy the 2009 control module 997 618 513 01 and have some pins changed for LED and DRL's. I watched my tech pull off the sleeve connectors that lock the harness into the control module. There is a blue and a black one. He then was able to show me where the Pin changes happen. It's crazy. Hopefully you can avoid all that and just go with the FVD controllers.

Currently I have the fast indicator on my dash and normal up front like you said. I also am getting warnings on my dash. I take my car in on Tuesday and hopefully will be corrected. Good Luck!
