I was able to make it out to a track rental at Atco Raceway in NJ today and run a 9 second pass. The past 6 or 7 months I have been dialing the car in and dealing with a few minor annoying issues so to be able to do this today has me pumped.

I just had the car retuned by Emre @ ESmotor for a mixture of pump gas 93 and Octanium. This is to replace the MS109 I have been running for race gas. The car was able to do a 5.6 second 60-130 so I figured why not see what she had in her for the 1/4.

I made about 8 passes today and the first 7 were all between 10.1-10.6 ranging from 140-142mph. I was spinning my R888's through the first 2 gears and only getting 2.0-1.7 60 foots. On the last pass of the day I was able to cut a 1.53 60' and the car managed to go 9.89 @ 141.50. Upon receiving my timeslip I was told I went too fast and I was done for the day. Good thing it was already 3:50pm and the track rental ended at 4

Big thanks to Joe and Ryan@ AIM performance in NJ and Emre@ ESmotor for working on the car, tuning, and dialing it in.

Edit: Sorry for the sideways pictures, not sure why they're coming out like that.

what did you change in your launch or tire psi to cut the 60 foot time down?

I played with the tire pressures a lot trying to find the sweet spot for the R888's. I left the front tires at 30psi. The rears I started at 30, went down to 24, (which was too low) and then went up to 34 which was too high. For the last run I set the rears at 28psi which seemed to do the trick.

They key was also getting heat into the tires. I was hot lapping pass after pass so by the last pass the tires had enough heat in them to hook. The settings on the car were sport plus on, suspension set in soft, traction control off, and launch control for the pass. Also doing a little launch control "burnout" to clean the tires off before the pass seemed to help.
