Through 20+ years in the industry, we've had the pleasure of making lots of friends in the Auto industry, one of which is "Itzkirb", our favorite photographer and car enthusiast. So when he purchased his 997 Turbo recently, we set out to make sure his car is protected properly with the best PPF (ClearGuard Nano SR), the best tint (Spectra Photosync), and one of the best Ceramic Coatings (Nanolex Si3D HD). Unfortunately the car had existing Xpel clear bra, which had too much orange peel texture and the installation was sub par to say the least. This coming from a "Certified" installer. Many customers do not fully understand the main difference between our 100% custom installations vs "pre-cut or custom pre-cut" kits. So first, here are pics of the existing clear bra.

 

Next came the film removal and paint correction.

 

Next comes the re-installation. Our Custom Clear Bra application provides the most seamless results in the industry. We use ClearGuard Nano SR exclusively because of its unmatched gloss, clarity (no orange peel texture), and best hydrophobic properties. With our custom installation, we are able to maximize coverage areas with each panel wrapped with one piece of film.

 

After the film is installed and paint corrected, we applied Nanolex SI3d Hd to the film and paint for added depth of gloss, protection from the environment, and ease of maintenance. Here are the some close up pics that show in detail the results of the film and our installation....

 

And to complete this project, we tinted the windows with Spectra Photsync tint. Photosync is a Nano IR tint that provides the best heat rejection out of all window films in the industry. Pictured is Photosync's 65% vlt film.

 

It's a night and day difference and the ceramic coating you guys put on has kept the car clean since!!!

I applied a CF film (3M 1080) on the hood of my GT3 a few years ago and wow was that challenging. Granted it was my first time and in the middle of a Portland winter. I look at your pictures with all those bubbles you need to work out.. incredibly done!

 

Thank you! For those looking into getting some type of paint protection film, do look at the work in person. Most companies do not take such close photos like ours and that is because very often, it does not look good close up.
