Performance rumor: 997 Turbo
I heard from a reliable source that the 997TT had been tested to be faster than the CGT in acceleration.
I find it hard to believe, but it would certainly be interesting to see iot beat M5s, RS6s, etc. by a good margin.

Are you referring to 0-60?
I would believe it because of the AWD. If it can beat the CGT in the quarter, now that would be very impressive, and I would think **** a lot of CGT owners off.

I highly doubt the 997tt will get a 0-60 in about 3.3-3.4 sec's and low 11's stock, but hey who knows!

Wow...we're magazine racing without a car even being tested. Get 'em to the track and see who's quicker on the Streets of Willow. If any CGT owners are too pissed, I'll buy them a new 997tt and trade them for their CGT. :-)

But you have to remember, even though the CGT is RWD, light and lots of power, its BUILT for getting off the line with ease and not alot of wheel spin, we arent talking about a 300 hp base car with 400 more hp added to it that wasnt built to put it down
