Please forgive my ignorance as I searched and couldn't find any hard conclusions as to the answer. I have a 997.1TT and recently purchased a steering wheel for a 991tt. The listing said it was for a 997.1 but after receiving it, the wheel is clearly for a 991. I have a 991 airbag so I am not worried about that but I am worried about EVERYTHING else. Can anyone confirm that this will or will not work? Thank you in advance!

 

It will work if you also change the control module in the column. search the thread 997 to 991 wheel and it has all the info you need.

I have the 991 Sport Design on my 997. Will work but need some codling depending on your current setup. I didn't have replace my steering column switch FWIW
