What could have done this to my wheel?

While swapping wheel/tire sets today I went to clean this black wheel I just took off and noticed this etching down the inner barrel center. The wheel was just freshly painted 2 years ago and certainly didn't have this marking after the pain job, but I am questioning if it was this last 5-6 mos of use on the car that did it or if I could have been prior. This did not happen on the opposite wheel while on the car. I did one autoX and one track day with PCA in the winter/spring. I'm dumbfounded.

The only thing I did not do was slap the wheel back on just to inspect clearance to the brake caliper. I had already tightened up the other set to the car and only saw this as I was cleaning the black wheels prior to stacking them up.

Thanks,

Rock, stick, or twig, stuck in between your caliper and inner barrel, or rubber "clag" build up. Not uncommon.
