Removing rear seats
Hello,
I want to remove the rear seats of my turbo because i want to install a rollcage. Are there covers from the GT2 available for the mounting of the seats an the seat belt?
thanks, br Rony

Yes Suncoast has the parts - surprisingly $$$ but I guess not really (Porsche tax). I did it several years ago as the folding seats served no purpose for me, just added weight and took-up space. I chose to not fully remove the rear seat belts, which seems like it entails more disassembly/reassembly. Instead, you can just fold/tuck them inside the rear cover panel.

I removed the rear seats and belts myself and it was quite easy. I also bought a rear seat delete carpet that fit in perfectly (it has shaped foam underneath to make the rear look like a GT2 rear) and for my vain side I bought a plaque that said turbo and put it on the back of the carpet. That's the same plaque that you see back there that says GT2 or GT3 in those cars. I believe Rennsport had all the parts. If memory serves right the carpet was like $200 and the plaque was like 30 or so. Have fun!

Given them a call and see if they still carry those parts.
