Wheel and Tire Insurance Reccommendation
Can someone recommend a company that I can purchase wheel and tire insurance from directly.
The dealer (non Porsche) uses a vendor I have had negative experience with and offer no other option.

I buy tire warranty from Discount tire...never had a claim and don’t by rim insurance anymore...a lot of them you have to destroy the rim to get it covered...I’m not driving on a dead tire that long....also some will cover curb rash( I’m **** about curbing so don’t!) but you can fix one for about $98 a rim ..much cheaper than the insurance....my 2 cents, not worth the money on rims and tires can be had for $64 a tire at Discount for piece of mind.....

I can’t argue with you but with tires at 350-400 a pop and center lock rims at 900-1200 maybe more it would give me some peace of mind to have it.
I drive 18k a year on my DD and I’ve used the insurance last year for 3 tires so while I’m not totally over the cost of insurance I’m right there at the cost and I don’t have to stress if something Happens.

in Houston there are several repair places.....the ones I have previously had fixed were the wife’s curb rash.....depending on the damage the price goes up....$75-200.....but outside of cosmetic damage I would be wary of rebuilding a bent or cracked rim....welding and cold working metal changes its integrity....JMO.
