New owner of 2011 turbo! Pdk paddle issue

It’s been a month since I picked up a 2011 Turbo coupe with 15k miles. I’ve been enjoying mile.

An issue I’ve been having is the downshift paddle is mostly unresponsive. It has worked on occasion but for the most part is does nothing. The up shift paddle and console shifter are fine.

Any suggestions on how to diagnose the issue?

You might have a defective steering wheel. I say take it to a dealer for diagnostics and you might be in for a new steering wheel. Paddle shifting issues usually stem from a defective steering wheel. Best of luck

I agree, it’s most likely the steering wheel. Hooked up a computer scanner and was able to read if the paddle signals were activated. So no activation on the downshift paddle. Upshift is fine. I will probably pull off the wheel and try to check the switch before order a new one.
