Brakes need replacing - few questions

Looks like my brake pads have finally worn down...original parts on my 2007 car with about 67k miles. Obviously I use the gas pedal a lot more than the brakes, lol. I'm quite impressed with the brakes lasting this long as they have seen some track time over the years.

Can I put larger discs on with stock calipers? Purely for cosmetic reasons, not important whatsoever but just wondering.

Is it just the pads and discs that get replaced or are there a bunch of other caliper parts that need to be replaced? I was just going to get Zimmerman discs and stock pads unless someone says that larger discs can be used.

thx

MezgerGT is infamous around these parts
I believe you probably have 350mm diameter front rotors. The next size up is 380mm which is what comes on the GT2. I believe the calipers should be the same dimensions and you may need an adapter to hang your existing calipers further away from the center of the hub to clear the larger rotors but dont know for sure/havent researched.
You can always get "the kit" from Brembo or others:

I think these are the brackets you need to clear the larger rotors:

Maybe someone just sells the larger rotors and the brackets so you can keep your stock calipers?

Edit: im sure those brackets can be bought from the Porsche parts catalog as well.

@MezgerGT gives good advice in the post above. If you want a bit more bite, I recommend Brembo Type-III Rotors 380mm Front / 350mm Rear. You will need a bracket like the one described above for your 6 piston calipers to sit correctly against the larger 380mm Front Rotors.

Remember that if you go with the 380MM you will have to run a 19" rim. Only a few 18" rims work with the 380MM.
