997TTs spotted in CA!

I was driving home from the office today and I ran into a really long caravan of new Porsches. Some Boxsters, Caymans, 997C2s, 997C4s, and 997TTs all lead by a Cayenne Turbo with a trailer on it. They all had Georgia plates on them. They were all about 5 miles from Mojave and it looks like they were headed that way. Definitely PCNA cars because some had antennas like the ones in the spy shots. Anyways, here are some pics that I took with my Sony DSC-T9. I passed quite a few of them before realizing that I had the camera on me so the caravan was much longer than you see in the pics.

Oh I forgot to mention, there were a couple of 997TTs but I thought it was interesting seeing the Lobsterforks on the TT in the last picture.

Definitely Georgia plates, you can't really see that well in the 4 shots above but I have one that's clear. They must be Georgia manufacturer or distributor plates.

I don't understand the whole desert testing thing. They actually do a lot of that around Mojave but whenever I see a test mule running around, they are always doing 55 in a 65 and never pushing the cars. Same with this caravan, they were all going about 55 in a 65 and at one time dropped down to 45 when they saw me hanging my Sony T9 out the window and out the sunroof. In fact, the Turbo would not even pull up next to me. Kind of dumb considering there are shots all over the web and all the other cars are already released.

Robert, you the man. Nice shots. BTW, I spoke to Rick Reus and he says he has an upgrade to the 997 stereo. You gonna go for it?

Nice pics. In the third picture it looks a little dangerous, it seems like that van is about to hit you in a headon collision.
