We will post the final numbers shortly. One thing to keep in mind is these cars are VERY sensitive to octane. It has been a huge task to achieve these power gains on 91-octane safely. Both the race gas and 94 octane files will without a doubt have HUGE gains over stock. We are dealing with making safe power with 91-octane as this is all us west coast guys can get on a regular basis.

We did some dyno tests with our stock 997TT with 91-octane and 94 octane fuel. No modifications what so ever done to the car. We conducted our tests on the same day, same car, same dyno and saw gains of almost 25 HP and 30 TQ with octane only. The timing maps are severely retarded when pushed hard with 91-octane fuel. With 94-octane fuel the timing maps hold a steady high timing limit and the power is significantly improved.
<o =""></o>There is plenty of power in this car between the software, exhaust and headers. We will have all of this information with power gains, 0-60, 0-100, 1/4 mile times etc shortly for both 91 octane as well as 94 and race fuel. Additionally, we will have chip-switching options as well.<o =""></o>

Todd you bring up a valid point about "safe" tuning and for the correct octane. I've seen some stuff from tuners (not going to name names because that isn't respectful) that just slap on files they "say" are for 91 octane but how do they really know if they don't even own the car, test their files or even have 91 octane in there state, country or region? We've even sliced open a few motors with clear evidence of extremely aggressive tuning, detonation and so forth on customer cars that have had other programing. Too many times either from Europe or other parts of the US I've ridden/driven in cars tuned way too aggressively for 91 octane. As I said I can't blame those said tuners too much, usually they're just selling a file they've rew-written on their laptop nowhere near a car or 91 octane but the result is a car that pings like mad (not cool). 91 octane is ****- no doubt about that but it's a fact of life in California/Arizona so we need to be tuned for it:POriginally Posted by Todd @ EVO
