10 cars in the US, that sounds good, almost too good. I'd be interested to see the data they've compiled on those 10 cars. Just be careful Dan, they might be pulling your leg a bit. Ten cars just sounds like a lot for a car that has only been released for 30 days, but I could be wrong.

 

I guess its hard to believe that the chip is done already. This upsets other vendors with no chips or flashes. It upsets people waiting for that chip. But trust me. This is done. The power gains are not advertised by me yet because I want to test a stock car on this dyno here before and after. I dont like to use other dynos. Although the plots do look incredible... I want to do this first hand. If someone wants to do it then bring it down and I will flash it. Simple as that. Rest assured you getting a product that is complete and check engine light free. Its on the conservative side if anything.

Todd your car is knocking because its 117 degrees and your running 91 octane in a car that was really designed to run 93+. Have Garret fix the programing and make more power without knocking. Cant we all get along man?

If this Clark, I know why the car is detonating. Porsche does high temperature testing here in AZ and other parts of the world with our climate on 91-octane fuel. I just find it a bit unusual. I have spent the last 1000 miles with our 997TT and the PIWIS data logging every aspect of the engine functions compiling data. My original question has nothing to do with the chip availability and upsolute, but real data and not just marketing and hype. 80 wheel HP and 90 TQ is a pretty lofty claim on a car that already makes 18 PSI of boost stock and on 91 octane already detonates. I am not saying it cannot be done, just questioning the validity. That’s all.

 

Todd. Good to hear from you. I am not making that claim. One of the main reasons I want this on my Dyno is so I can show people this is what it does. I can only review logs of what I found and read dyno charts on other peoples machines. I cannot claim anything just yet. If it makes 20whp on my dyno then its 20whp.. If it makes 100whp then its 100whp.. So for now I cant claim anything I have learned my lesson a long time ago to market something that is not tested by myself in person. I have alot of data here and alot of plots. But none on this DYno yet

I am a happy (no CEL etc) Upsolute customer. I would volunteer
my car for the 997 tuning if we can come to an agreement about
the cost of upgrading the chip and turbo (mine's a 996..)

 

Sorry to revive this old thread but I wanted feedbacks of Upsolute as I have a local tuner offering me this tune.

Anyone?
