Putting my foot out there...

Upsolute has been doing 997TT ECU modding in this past month. They want me to get a customer interested in doing a before and after dyno to show the gains on paper. If your local, great, I will dyno the car for free. If your not and can arrange a dyno session, let me know.

The Upsolute power gains are not advertised right now. The ECU Flash/Modding is free of charge for the customer willing to help. Normal retail cost is $700.

Is this done with ODB II now or do you need to take the chip out of the ECU?

 

So let me get this straight, I give you my $150K car so you can use it for testing and give me a free dyno and a free chip? Where do I sign up?

If they have been "modding" the ECU already this past month, why do you need a guinea pig?

Already got a couple interested. We are not TESTING anything. It is already done, we just want to get them the dyno sheets on them. You will notice Upsolute does not have a dyno sheet on the product right now.

Blackbear this is a OBDII file load, not a solder in chip.

I am not concerned, just curious. My question is if they already have the upgrade completed, one would assume they tested it on a dyno and would already have the results.

No war here. You can take a look at the Upsolute.com site and see they results are posted, but not an actual dyno. Kinda like what we did with the 996TT one for viewers. 997TT owners have the mod bug and like to see hard numbers on paper. Some companies dont publish their dyno results on all their products, you would agree?

Anyways, the upsolute ECU reflash for $700 has already been proven to gain almost 90ftlbs of torque and 80whp by other Upsolute vendors. I am simply seeing if anyone wants a FREE reflash so we can do a 3rd party before and after dyno.

Dan, I don't understand. How does Upsolute get results without before and after dyno runs? Thanks BTW, I have heard good things about UpSolute.

 

How are they achieving 80 wheel HP and 90 TQ? The car already makes 18 PSI of boost. I am not saying it is impossible, just a bit lofty. So what you are telling us is the upsolut upgrade makes ~570 HP and 595 TQ?

This is not meant to be rude so please don’t take it the wrong way. Do you know what you are selling or are you just going by what you have been told? Do you know how the power is achieved? Porsche monitors the EGT temps very closely and running the turbos for long periods of time at high boost may have an adverse affect on the turbocharger life span. I would be curious to hear your input.

This post is not meant to start a feud, I am just wanting some substance to some very aggressive claims on a car that has been out for 30 days with some very new technology for Porsche.

 

They do use the dyno is what he's trying to say, they just don't post dyno sheets (like MANY tuners). Sounds like vivid wants to get a dyno sheet so HE can use it to better sell the product from his end since Upsolute doesn't provide one for him.
