Must be market-specific to S.Florida. There is no shortage of Turbo's.

There's a black TT currently on Ebay with 160 miles that cannot even muster a SINGLE opening bid of $100K.

I've been in contact with a Boston dealer which has a nice Cobalt Blue TT on the showroom floor for weeks now. They are asking $15Kover MSRP, but they will accept MSRP today if you stand firm.

I don't think Ebay is an accurate indicator of the TT market. Many people are afraid to use EBAY to buy a car. The dealers in my area are quoting MAYBE first qt of 2008. They are getting 1 - 1.5 TT per mo.

you gotta be nuts to buy a new TT on ebay.. They are BTW getting over sticker on ebay. IMO the only way to buy that car is through a Porsche dealer. And out here on Long Is. NY they are getting big bucks for them.

100% agree, getting a TT on ebay is about as bright as buying your house there.

I agree, Braman has a lot of whatever you want. I have bought many cars from them. They have 3 CGT's on the PO lot right now. Their Audi lot is right next door and they have 2 RS4's in the showrom at MSRP. In their BMW place just up the street they have numerous M5/M6's w/ a high mark up though.

I am sure they have ample supply of 997TT's. I am willing to bet in a few months they will have a few on their PO lot. S Fla is the king of fast trade in's on nice hot rods. I have seen E60 M5s for sale at Braman w/ as little as 700 miles. Thsi is very common as peeps buy them then decide the car rides to rough or the car does not match the paint on their house so off the car goes.

For what it's worth, I just today bought a Cobalt Blue launch edition 997TT off the showroom floor, at MSRP. Without even haggling

I was at a dealer in the Los Angeles area this morning who had 3 turbos with a $50,000 market adjustment on each. One had a sold sign on it but, who knows...

You need to put "market adjustment" in quotes like this.
That is crazy, but if the market will bear it...

i agree. i have been offered several cars by dealers for 10k over msrp, almost always due to "buyers who put 300 miles on their cars, but now want to sell them". these are speculators, you have to be nuts to buy from them. the same with the dealers with market adjustments. be patient-there are plenty of 6 month lists. put your $1000 down, get on a list, and get your cars. don't throw away your hard earned money.
