Lowered a 997TT

anyone lower their 997TT yet? Any problems?

According to TechArt, they're planning to release a lowering progressive spring kit for the 997TT in about 2 months. I'm not entirely sure if I will get it yet. I found the stock height to be perfect as far as driveways, bumps, etc goes.

i think champion motorsport has springs , there white car is lowered

unless Porsche motorsport has a lowering kit that they make, why touch the best car ever built? there will be a compromise made somewhere in handling and i'm guessing it won't be positive in the best of circumstances.

Just changing springs........is the cheap approach.....nuf said.

BUT WHEN YOU GO TO A COIL OVER YOU WILL LOSE THE SPORT BUTTON.

I Drove A Coil Over With Pasm For The 997s And It Drive's Like ****.
But If Moton Can Do It Should Be Good.

Yes you will but I am the type of driver who does not like the PASM. You will not lose the sport button, just the PASM control which I think is a "fake" suspension feel anyway. I do not like the feeling of the OEM suspension and I am wanting the handling characteristics of my 996TT with MOTONS.

What system did you drive? Was it a PASM car with lowering springs or a complete system with new shocks and springs?

So... Does ANYONE know if installing springs on a PASM-equipped car screws things up? I have been asking for 2 weeks now.

I drove a 997S with PASM and lowering springs. I did not like the way it handled. It had way too much bump steer IMO

I drove bilsteins car in germany , complete system with pasm
and i was not happy with the out come of the on the track and then i drove a 997s with just spring and the car had more grip but the car much softer. the car with coil over had alot of understeer..
