It's tricky, you have to choose the "free" button for download, wait the required 60+ seconds until your turn is up, and then enter the three letter password...and THEN you can start your download. It's not a large file so it's pretty quick.

hmm... 1:04.7... not a particularly impressive time around Tsukuba, considering this is the new Turbo. I've been trying to find where I kept the video, but i think the Gallardo is faster.

then again, this was a tiptronic... MAYBE the 6-spd would be faster?

i can't wait for the international edition of BMI to be released, so that we can get translation on tsuchiya's impressions.

i know some people claim BMI races to be rigged in favor of the japanese cars. i don't think that's the case. i DO think that the outcome of races is not entirely "fair" because while the drivers they use are all professional racers (or retired racers,) and are all undoubtedly much more skilled than the average joe (or journalist for that matter,) there are big differences in how aggressive they drive, how hard they are willing to push.

for example, they will frequently have "guest drivers" for one of their big Super Battle events. the guest driver may be participating in this type of racing for the first time, and will be acutely aware that if he stuffs it, he is wrecking the manufacturer's car, and will naturally be more conservative. this is wheel-to-wheel racing after all.

on the other hand, some of the veteran BMI drivers like tsuchiya or Gan-san adopt a take-no-prisoners attitude. so in general, putting either of them in the car, may give that car a bit of an advantage vs others, on a given day.

this should just go to show you that the performance levels are equal enough where it comes down to THE DRIVER. it's entertaining because it always ends up in debate as to who's faster than who else

I totally agree. I would expect more cabin noise for the car.

I find the TT noisy enough. I kind of side with car magazines, the lower the dB, the higher the score in my books.
