Top speed and acceleration: Veyron, Z06, LP640, SLR etc. and the 997TT
Fraum zee zerman Auto Motor unt Schport 
599GTB cracks 200 km/h in 10.3.
Veryron in 7.4
LP640 cracks 200 km/h in 11.2 seconds - slow!
997TT, 0 - 200 km/h in 12,3 and tol 300 km/h in 40.7 sek
(RUF Rt12 does it in 24.8)
The 997TT is faster than the Z06 up to 300 km/h
Top Speeds:
Vanquish S: 317 km/h
Veyron: 402 km/h
Corvette C6 Z06: 315 km/h
SRT-10: 298 km/h
559 GTB: 335 km/h
Ford GT: 330 km/h
LP640: 340 km/h
SLR: 324 km/h
997 Turbo: 310 km/h
It is true what EVO said about Veyron "It made the Zonda feel like a Honda" the car is in another division.

props to the Z06 for making it with the big boys. im suprised the SRT-10's top speed is so low... maybe that's the way it's geared, though i heard that it was geared to be at very low rev @ 60mph for fuel economy...?

You failed to mention that according to this test the Z06 is faster in the 1/4 mile by almost 1/2 sec. and 2 sec faster up to 250km than the 997TT. This is the only test I am aware of that has the 997TT beating the Z06 from 250km to 300km. The Z06 has 25 more hp and is at least 300 lighter. Strange result. 
BTW, the test also showed the Ford GT beating the 997TT in all perf. test.
