Albeit, the 911 is CR's number one sports car, they recommended the 350Z, BMW Z4, and the Lexus SC430.

Still... the Porsche is more expensive but you get what you pay for and GM has nothing worth to lay a penny on.

Yes. It was a tough battle, but in the end, the Turbo managed to nudge past the Lexus SC430 and ****** the win!

I agree with you and LS7..... The only use I would get out of the pages of a consumer reports magazine would be to wipe my ***.

I have always loved porsche I think they are very unique not to mention what you can get out of a turbo with good mods. As for a z06 even though it is a good performer on staight aways I just cant get over the fact that growing up all you saw was men that looked like Kenny Rogers owning them even to this day IMHO.

Agreed. Some stereotypes are very true. Just for fun...study the drivers of the next 10 'vettes you see. I will bet you see at least 3 smokers, 3 tatoos, 2 thick gold chains, 2 chests with hair bulging through opened buttons, one t-shirt that is 3 sizes too small, and at least one mullett. I have learned to appreciate 'vette drivers for the entertainment they provide us all.

My neigbor across the street just picked up a yellow C6 convert. He looks like a mix of Kenny Rogers, Hulk Hogan and Fire Marshall Bill.
BTW, 2K7997, Statistically you would see at least 3 mullets with the "10 Vette" poll.
