Any news on DSG for 997TT?

I am waiting for the stupid new tranny to place my order but dealer doesn't know how long yet...

If its more than a year than I am thinking of getting an R8 for the time being...What are opinions here on the R8?

Get the R8, However it might be seeing the Gallardo's V10 in a couple of years.

That's really an hard choice...DSG Turbo or R8...well I think the DSG for Porsche will be available before the V10 engined R8, so...

Nothing firm yet, but after talking to a number of dealers I think it's possible in 2nd half of 2007 as a 2008 model.

Exclamation MSINDI Where Have You Been ..... !

The All new R8 will be in production during summer 07 to be lunched & delivered Sep. 07
The car will only be available with the V8 engine, and all "Other" engines will follow during 2008
No "Official" news on the DSG yet, and I would say nothing before Frankfort Motor-Show Sep. 07

Why don't you go back to your First Choice; an immediate delivery 997 Turbo 6-speed

If the launch R8 is as problematic as the launch D3 A8, Touareg, Phaeton, etc I would say that you need to wait even longer

Tell me about it! I would spend two weeks driving my Touareg; then drop it off for a week to replace a faulty part. It spent as much time in the garage as the road. I wouldn't go for a first-edition car .. especially from Audi/VW.
