FYI, the oem ssk for the 997TT and the previous oem 996 ssk look nothing alike side by side, as gradyex mentioned. I know you can retrofit the BM, that is the same as the 996 ssk, into the 997 but it is a bit different. Different makers, can't recall the company that made the 997 version, but it wasn't BM this time around.

Interesting, I didn't realize that. The 997 has a Japaneese tranny, mabe that has something to do with it? If the Turbo's SS is anything like my 997S, I will be thrilled with it! The best stick I've ever driven so far.
