Pulled the trigger..Got a ?

Hey guys,
I pulled the trigger on a turbo. The original buyer backed out, and I took it. The vehicle is "on vessel" and should arrive in 3 weeks or so. It is arctic silver/black/tip with a few more options. I want a thicker steering wheel. What are my options? I want to keep the triangular air bag module if possible. The wait begins!

No, six speed. I decided I would get a tip, since I love tip in my Cayenne.

Gorgeous wheel!! Where can I order that? Will it require me to replace the air bag module?

I would just drive it with the stock wheel and after a few months make the decision. I had the same thoughts about my stock sport steering wheel on my 2005 997S (coming from an M3) but after taking delivery I actually liked it. If it doesn't work for you you can order one from TechArt and when you get it have your dealer swap it (including air bag so you need the triangular style wheel from TechArt). Afterward you send them your core stock wheel so they can reuse it (you get credit toward the new one). Atomic would be the one to answer this better. By the way, congrats on the Turbo!

Atomic, just realized that the pic you posted is not your car... you got your wheel with no logo right?
