I obviously knew the turbo would win but seeing how bad it wasted that SRT-8 is impressive.

Thanks for the vids!

Glad u guys enjoyed it. I was a bit surprised how badly the jeep got beat. I guess that's the 1.5 sec, 0-60 variance between the two cars. I can't wait to save my pennys for 997TT.

I raced a GC-SRT8 (4thirty) a couple weeks ago, he would get a slight jump .. then I would just pull on him. I attribute that to 4wheel drive vs. my poor launching skills. After ~70miles .. you being seeing him in the rearview.

Either way .. the car is no slouch and is well worth the price!

wipeing a the SRT8 isnt much to brag about lol. Nevertheless its a good car when compared to other sports suv's in it class, esp its good price. I would like to see a Cayenne Turbo vs the Jeep SRT8 and M-Benz ML63,that should fairer and more interesting.

true... but taken in isolation, the SRT8 is pretty damn fast. i mean, comparing it to most other "normal" cars on the road. of course i'm understandably biased, but its my daily driver, and i get a HUGE kick out of it. comfortable, practical (the gas consumption aside,) lots of fun, and not silly money.

i'll have a video of the SRT8 vs a current Cayenne Turbo (i.e., not the new 500HP one) in about 2-3 weeks, as well as GPS traces, if anyone cares

Thought it would've been closer. Not a real challenge, just not as bad of a spanking.

I love when he says, "How did he do dat?".
