I love this car.....Priceless!

Every time I drive it I think "what a machine"! Second gear is scary fast.... The whole car seems to be searching for grip with WOT. When I take friends for a ride, they are always intially seeking something to grap onto as the acceleration hits. They exit the car with a huge grin and say something like "that is sick" "this should be illegal" "I have never been in a car so fasst". You can also drive your other love to dinner in comfort and it has cupholders....which I am ashamed to admit I have used

Love your Techart steering wheel! I've got one in mine too! What's with that CHP patch on your dashboard?

Nice steering wheel. Is it available without the multi function?

OK, so it looks like you have Guards and Black....how tough is it to keep the Black one clean in comparison?

Wondering minds need to know.

Yeah, those silver plates are either smooth or multifunction.

On the steering wheel question,

I have the non multifunction "thicker" OEM steering wheel.
Is there a techart "thicker" steering wheel that also has the multifunction?
(best of both worlds type of thing?) Or is it one or the other?

Thanks,
B

Hey B-Line, you can have it all.
All TECHART steering wheels are thicker than stock.
It's the same steering wheel with or without the multifunction option.
The picture posted above by Scottfromnapa has the multifuction buttons.
Here is one without them:

Damn nice!

You know you can angle that turbo thingy towards you? It looks almost like it's pointing toward the passenger.

Yeah, the Techart steering wheel is awesome. Once I saw it, had to have it. Feels great when you are driving. This is how the stock one should be! The other great mod is the OEM SSK. The throw is so much better, more precise and direct, also should be stock IMO.
A good friend of mine was a CHP officer who past away. He gave me the patch with the words "I dont want to asume anything, but..." He was a porsche lover who had a 993 turbo. I keep the patch in his memory and with the possibility that it might get me a warning someday.

Black is a nightmare if I must be honest. The Boxster S is my first love, so I would never repeat this in the garage, but I will never own another black car. Especially if you track the car, rock chips, scratches, smuges all show. The Nissan red is a lot easier to care for and looks better for longer. Unless you have a live-in detailer(16y/o son) black is a tough call!!

Thanks. Alex at Sharkwerks did the Evo Stage III(ECU with 2 programs-91 octane and 100 octane race gas, Evo headers with the Milltek exhaust and evo tips. The exhaust has a nice growl and is sporty, but is not obtrusive...just the balance I was looking for. Kudos to Alex and James, they were great to work with, friendly and timely.
