Went to the last Porsche meet at Grand Hotel and in Fairhope last month (3/17). Good attendance, but only 1-'07 tt. Just didn't think there were too many '07 tts in this area. Some earlier models maybe I just haven't seen yet in the Mobile area.
The porsche club has a meet at the No problem race track in New Orleans coming up May 20 if you feel like you would want to race your tt around a track. I think they are looking for a couple more drivers. Do you attend any of the Porsche meets?? I try to get to Fairhope once ever couple months or so.

. Anyone seen any other data on total sales for 2007 model year for USA, that is, for either 911s or twin turbos???? For 911s sales in the USA, is the 956 number total 2007 911 units or only total 911s for Jan 07.
I have no idea how many cars Porsche sells each year. Maybe someone has a good number from last year.To quote the article: "Porsche Kicks Off 2007 Well in USA. Despite a difficult market, Porsche made a good start for year in 2007, selling 956 new 911s, up 15% on last January's figure of 833. This year's total included 194 turbos."
"Although the 911 sales were good, Porsche sales in the USA dropped by 7% compared to same period last year. This most likely due to buoyant sales of the then-new Cayman S in 2006, and dip in Cayenne sales this year, because model was waiting facelift."

porsche is guesimating delivery of 6000 997tt worldwide for their fiscal year 2007. see the quote below:
found this tidbit on porsche's website in their current fiscal year update (08/06-01/07):
"In the current year of business the Company's successful development is borne out by the two series of sports cars. Sales of the 911 model series alone are expected to reach 36,000 units, among them some 6,000 Turbos. The model mix shows a clear preference in the market for high-priced models." note - their current fiscal year is 08/06-07/07.
Appreciate clarification
