hi guys, i'm new to the board even though i have tried to register while ago but i stuggled and i have been looking around 6spped for even a longer time. Anyhow, i just wanted to inroduce myself and ask an interesting question.

what is the highest # of hps that a 997tt reached til today? i'm aware of the 610 from evoms but i was told that Gemballa has reached 850!?

 

i think you meant the 9FF car... that thing has something like 850HP with 4.0L or something like that... but don't quote me on it... oh and welcome aboard!

I don't know of a solid power figure however if you go into the 996TT/GT2 forum and check out the quarter mile times it seems that ToddZ has broken into the 10's, I'd say mid 600's so far? I don't remember seeing one much higher in horsepower. Although I vaguely remember 9FF I think with a highly modified 997TT?

last night i saw a comparison between sportec and 9ff on rennlist. the 9ff had 630 hps. also there is another intersting article on rennteam and non of them stated 850!

The 630hp one is only like EVO's GT640 Package... but the 850hp version is for top speed only and sold in very limited quantities (around 12 or 14 cars if i remember correctly)... and also the 850hp version is a COMPLETELY crate motor built to 4.0L F6 with everything modified... so technically its NOT a 997TT its only a 997 body with Twin Turbo motor... if that makes sense ... but you can reference to one of last year's issue of Excellence it featured the 996 version of the Bugatti killer (400km/h +) top speed!!!

Alan, that makes alot of sense to me:-D. however, the story behind my question is, a guy called me out of nowhere, dont know where he got my # from and hes interested in my car. he told me that there is a 997TT in Qatar with 850hp Gemballa!

That Bugatti killer is interesting, i think we should expect a 4.0 TT from porsche within 4 years from now?

well i've been sitting in the sportec SPR1 - 803 HP... but I know 9ff did a 997 turbo for a serbian guy in belgrade with 910 HP !!!!!!

 

The set up looks nice I wonder what kind turbo their using gt35r ?

 

well i know prototech has passed 700hp ...i sat in it and it was nuts ..oh and it wont break the bank ...
