There is no 997 Turbo S.

It's a 997 Turbo. Could be an honest slip...Tip is often referred to as 'Tiptronic S transmission' OR it could be a desperate seller trying to take advantage of an unknowing buyer.

It's this new product called photshop, it makes the cars shine like no other.

 

Impressive none the less.

 

I would assume that they were talking about the chicktronic S and not trying to sell it as a turbo S, but then again we have seen stranger things on ebay. But other that that, that sure is a sweet car!!!!!!!!!!

 

ya know at first i wouldnt have said photoshop but upon closer inspection...something looks amiss on those photos, that shine is unreal

 

considering the typeOs in the listing i think its just a slip up.

but hey the car is "FASTER THAT CGT!"

 

What could be the Pshop technique to make the image in the photo so glossy?

 

Look at the interior shots? The look like magazine ads? How does one do this ?

they probably used the "shadow/highlights" tool under "image" then "adjustments"

Yup.......

 

You can enhance contrast and make thing look shinier by adjusting the levels. You do this by moving the white point and black point inputs closer together. Basically, what this does is, exaggerate the lightest and darkest points by changing what Photoshop considers white and/or black. You can also adjust such thing by adjusting the curves, but that is considerably more complicated. Both adjustment parameters can be found under the "image" menu in "adjustments." Image adjustments sort of does the same thing, but you have far more control using levels or curves.
