I will tell you one to avoid, A1 Dr Tint (Carson). They had a guy with 20 yrs experience and he was great, the new gang of hacks are terrible - not one piece of glass is without dirt or bubbles on the last two cars I had done there. Wont make the mistake a third time. The owner was a complete moron when I complained, his BBB report shows more nightmares too.

Where did you get your Basalt black from?Originally Posted by whomikem

Sunshield Tint in the valley. It's on Van Nuys Blvd right by the 101. They've done all my cars and my friends' cars. Great pricing and the quality is very good and lasts. They do all the tinting for the dealerships around there.

Picked it up at Larson Porsche in Tacoma, Washington. Started hunting at the end of February. Everything on the lots in LA were 8-15k over sticker and the earliest allocations were mid to late July. Called around and Larson had an unclaimed allocation which was ready 2 months later (end of April). Randy, Laura and the crew were a pleasure to work with and I would definitely do it all over again.Originally Posted by El Cholo Loco

Thanks! I ended up going to Arling at Lucent and it looks great. Didn't shop around too much so not sure how pricing was, but I'm definitely satisfied. They had some amazing cars at the shop which definitely builds confidence and everyone over there were great to deal with.Originally Posted by speedplay

How much at Lucent? Got a $120 tint job at California Tint in Rosemead.
