A $1500 screw - Dayam!

Screw - nail in the sidewall this morning. Try finding a back-ordered PS2 on Saturday morning of a long holiday weekend .

The only tires I could find that matched the N rating on my fronts were P Zero Rossos - had to buy two cause I didn't want to mix and match. $1500 including tax for the pair! OUCH!!

Edit: thank goodness for that tire pressure display in the dash.

May Two-Four. Commemorates the quantity of beer in the only size pack that any self-respecting Canadian buys.

Michelins on the front. I replaced both rears with P zero's.

Jamie, it sounds like you need to clear out the TMX Elmo section and start stocking some tires at the store.

Ah man, I didn't notice that you were in Ont when I was checking out your CGT thread. Did you buy your car at motion endeaviours? I noticed that they had one in their inventory just like yours (which seemed to be one hell of a deal.... for a CGT that is).

Threads like this make me wonder if I should have a full set of PS2's for the ready!

Guess you don't have the tire insurance? wondering if I should get it - probably would have already paid for itself for you.

I heard last time I needed 2 rear tires that it is not a good idea to mix and match front and rear tires on an AWD, especially in wet road conditions the ends may swap during a sharp turn due to different water evacuation rate.

Sound like u may need 2 more tires and its more like a $2500 screw!

As said, mixing 2 different tread patterns F&R is a bad idea. Handling can be very quirky if not hazardous as such. Buy a pair of front Pirellis and sell the PS2's on the classifieds or eBay

I guess you didn't have the tire insurance that everyone bad mouths. Supposedly the insurance would pay for the one tire anyway, and the insurance only costs $500 for the life of the tire or tires. When I got my turbo, the deal sounded good, knowing well the price of these tires.
