In a nutshell, it's about 95% E46 M3 without the drama (I had 2 E46 M3's) -sharp handling; superb acceleration (no turbo lag) and a precise tranny. I'm waiting for a few months before I do the XEDE upgrade. We have an 07 328 in the family and its day and night between the 2 Bimmers...
Hope this helps, else PM me for more info...

so, what does everyone think of the A8? S550 is my top choice, but a bit more than I want to spend.

Plus, I know I can swing a sweet deal with the 997 and the A8 from the same dealership.

No doubt that the S550 is the most baller of the choices!

someone here was selling his '06 (I think) Quattroporte. That would be a great alternative car to have. You'll get more stares in that than any of the others that's for sure.

yes, its the new one. its a really great suv. well balanced in all areas. 300hp, nice ride & all the tech gadgets you could want. and it was only 45k. but, its still a mom-mobile. thats why I want a cruiser sedan as well.

Get an S550 sport. Or use the MDX and M3 as a down payment on a F430 spyder, sell it after a year with minimal driving for a profit then use the money as a down payment on a G63. That's my 3 year plan for you.

thanks for the info. I made a deal for a new 335 sedan last night, I agree it is a very impressive car. Silver with premium and sport packages, she's very excited.

so, I confirmed w/ my salesman. they are going to give me a great lease deal on an A8 considering that I am getting turbo from them as well, and paying sticker for it.

The A8 stickers at about 85k. 5k down - $1200 mo - 36 months - 12k miles a year. pretty darn good if you ask me. is this too good to pass up?

I would definitely consider the A8 as well. very nice. Or how about the new S6? V10 and room to boot?
