From my screen it does not look like gulf blue. It looks more like some form of powder blue. Let me adjust my settings.

I am aware of of the original race car color and mean no disrespect of the heritrage.

Like it a lot. I'd do the wheels, mirror shells and spoiler blade in black, along with some dark tint.

 

Gulf Blue is not a bad color , here is a pic of my original Gulf Blue '74 Carrera...
