To aerokit or not...

Tough one...It is overpriced and for the money I would rather ddo the same Techart kit that Fred had (the new one is overkill for me)

Now if only PDK came out so I can order the damn thing before the 998 comes out

 

or just go buy Fred's TT

 

The factory aerokit is cool, and functional as well. Well engineered and wind tunnel tested unlike any of the aftermarket stuff. I had it on my C4S, really works on a high speed track. WAAAAAAAAAAY overpriced. Btwn the aero, pccb's, the optional GT2 style wheels(late '08 option) and those new seats you could buy a second car!

 

It looks like the new lip could be swapped out for the base OEM no?

 

Yes, but AD wise you wouldn't want to mix the two.

 

Looks gaudy on the back...not bad in front, and definitely overpriced. But hey, some folks love it.

You'll prob do 15 of them w/in the first 2 months of the release of the GT2 parts in cali!

 

Not feeling that wing at all, rest looks great though not worth the $$ IMO.

aerokit front, rinspeed side skirts, techart rear valance and techart type 1 rear spoiler is better looking than the aerokit from porsche.

 

Way too much money, for way too little change

It is cheaper (and nicer) to go with a mix of TechArt and Rinspeed
