Yeah you gotta love those times when you really just rip on it. Its almost like you cannot shift the thing fast enough. I always wonder what other people are thinking when they see me rip pass them in a Silver Blur and get a glimpse of my **** eatin grin!

It's times like this when we accelerate and wizz by cars at such great speed and power that mitigates the money we paid for our turbos.

At times I have CD about spending over $130K but everytime I drive the car the CD goes away and I think its worth every penny. We all know when trade in time comes and for me it's in 4 years we will probably see $75K or less but when we are driving it and playing around with the sport mode, etc,, who cares about the money?

It took me years to get to be comfortable with this rational. I should have gotten the TT in 1996 but I chickened out for a coupe in 1995. Tischer had two on the floor when I got my 993, the 1996 993 tt s came out in 1995.

I had that feeling last night when I had a C5 ZO6 next to me at the stop light. I am not great at launches yet as I haven't practiced that much on this car. I know he had at least an exhaust and he had a cowl hood on it. Didn't look bad but it wasn't stock. At the light he asked me if my car was quick and I looked over at his and said not really. We were rolling at 40mph and he was being pretty cool about things.

Well at 40mph he smiles and said come on for fun. I kindly accepted and we took off. Put it this way - he wasn't expecting it. But he was cool about it. We didn't get up to crazy speeds but it was fun anyways. We both gave thumbs up before entering the highway.

So the rush to 6-7K is a pretty amazing rush...

Once the turbos spool up, its freaking crazy! Very explosive is the only way to describe it.

Unfortunately,,when we go out to eat, to the Mall, to Wal Fart and food shopping we take the Town Car,, a N/A 120 HP Matrix.. the anthesis of the TT,, 0 to 60 in 22 seconds...

Its boring but its a throw away car..

We dont live in a perfect world, if we did, the TT would go everywhere I do.
