That device turns into a super bright strobe light while it's working, and there is a matching strobe triggered on the traffic light to alert the function is being used....not exactly "low key"
Interesting take. Does the traffic signal get arrested for being "under the influence?"

Apparently the FCC does not regulate the specific spectrum or whatever the strobe light uses. However, in light of recent commercialization of the light, some individual municipalities have outlawed its use
