Ruf is one of Porsche tuners with more tradition and their quality is worldwide known but the cost of their conversions is ridiculous.
I have EVOMS 690 hp kit and the cost was 40% compared with Ruf.

But I believe RUF will warranrty their work for 2 years...I don't see Evolution Motorsports doing that. I guess that's why they don't sell their stuff out of house...all their upgrades are inhouse only.

Thumbs up

Those prices are borderline gouging. Other good Tuners like Techart, EVOMS, AWE, Speedart, and Gemballa have great systems out that have the HP without the outrageous price.

Its not borderline gouging... it is... but they are utilizing the value of the RUF brand. How could they possibly justify the cost of a RT12 if they did not charge $120 grand to convert a turbo that would rival the performance?

For that price, I would rather go with AWE or Evoms and self insure issues with the savings.
