First of all, compare the Laser Interceptor laser jammer to the Escort ZR4 laser jammer that comes with the Escort 9500ci. Which one would you feel safe with?

Now, compare the $399 Valentine One to every other radar detector in the under $500 radar detector category. Which one seems to beat the others?

Is there any current data on this? Technology has improved and my clients have reported real world usage and have proved the 9500 pkg to be very effective in this area and throughout their travels.

It's one thing to read about test results but it's an entirely different matter to actually use it in the real world like I have for the past 2 1/2 years. I've had both the Escort SRX and 9500Ci and driven it in several states. I've gotten lasered on multiple occasions and guess what, it WORKED! Every time! So I'm satisfied and definitely would recommend it. The extra features also makes it hugely beneficial too. So to answer your question, yes, I feel safe with it.

Same here. I have driven about 100,000+ miles with my SRX and found myself in some bad situations, way over the limit, first car in pack, clearly targeted by a laser gun and I've never been ticketed. Same thing for my coworkers who also drive with an SRX. I recently went blazing into two laser traps (I was the only car on the road) with my 9500ci at speeds that would have cost me my license and impounded my car. The 9500ci did it's job.

Is the Laser Interceptor better? Absolutely, the test clearly shows that, and it should be because it uses laser diodes instead of IR LEDs (more expensive, and brighter). Keep in mind that the mack daddy LI product costs $2,450.

I recently authored a long response to this very chart (a chart that the LI zombies love to post) over here: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ml#post2354261

If you're within travel distance of these guys, I'd highly recommend them as an install facility. These guys install more 9500ci's than probably anyone in the country, and into some pretty exotic rides too.

They installed the GPS ant under the plastic piece in the trunk below where the passenger side windshield wiper is and it works fine and totally out of sight

Because this thread is nearly 2 years old, and the OP has been banned and is no longer a sponsor.

I wasn't aware that they were banned, or the status of their sponsorship. I am pretty sure that this company has closed and is no longer in business. I'm also guessing that the pictures were hosted on their server which is no more.

GUYS OF LYING, I mean Lidar from what I hear are in Escort's pocket.

Guys I personally drive with the K40 radar detector RL360 there newest system. I have to say it is pretty darn good system, I would say they definately went a notch over anything else available today.

Check it out for yourself, I found this video on there Youtube channel.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4NTUhzXmSE

But to each his own, it is just my opinion

You appear to be misinformed. The guys of lidar are not very friendly to Escort. They clearly favor the Laser Interceptor products.

I sort of hate to break this to you, but there is one opinion that all people in the know share in regard to radar/laser detection, and that is the fact that the K-40 products are undisputibly the worst performing devices available. Lots of fluff, slick interface, easy installation, lousy technology and performance.

Sorry, just telling it like it is. Don't believe me, research this for yourself at www.RadarDetectror.net. You'll see what I mean.
